Living systems that evolve together

We cultivate evolutionary approaches & liberating systems — as individuals, collectives, and ecosystems.

Stay in the loop Our principles

How living systems thrive

We draw from biomimicry, ecology, and developmental theory to shape structures that are resilient, adaptive, and whole.

Holonic Structure

Every part is both a whole unto itself and part of a larger whole. Projects, collectives, and individuals nest within one another — autonomous yet interconnected.

Evolutionary Development

Growth happens in stages. We honor the developmental unfolding of people and systems, meeting complexity where it is rather than where we wish it to be.

Living Coordination

Coordination modeled on ecosystems — symbiotic, emergent, and rooted in mutual benefit. Not extraction, but co-evolution.

Sovereignty & Stewardship

Privacy-first. EU-sovereign. We steward the spaces we create with care, keeping power distributed and data close to its source.

Open Source Spirit

Knowledge, tools, and methods are shared openly wherever possible. Transparency builds trust, and trust builds resilient systems.

Field Awareness

We attend not just to tasks and outcomes, but to the energetic quality of the spaces in which work happens. The field shapes the fruit.

What is EvoBioSys?

EvoBioSys — Evolving Living Systems — is a framework and growing network for people and projects that take living systems seriously. Not as metaphor, but as method.

We organize through nested collectives, each with its own purpose and autonomy, connected through shared principles and mutual support. Current initiatives span community building, financial stewardship, and open-source tooling.

Founded and steered by Jakob Possert, EvoBioSys is rooted in Vienna and oriented toward European sovereignty, developmental depth, and practical idealism.
