We cultivate evolutionary approaches & liberating systems — as individuals, collectives, and ecosystems. Every project is a holon: whole in itself, part of a greater whole.
Principles
We draw from biomimicry, ecology, and developmental theory to shape structures that are resilient, adaptive, and whole.
Every part is both a whole unto itself and part of a larger whole. Projects, collectives, and individuals nest within one another — autonomous yet interconnected.
Growth happens in stages. We honor the developmental unfolding of people and systems, meeting complexity where it is rather than where we wish it to be.
Coordination modeled on ecosystems — symbiotic, emergent, and rooted in mutual benefit. Not extraction, but co-evolution.
Privacy-first. EU-sovereign. We steward the spaces we create with care, keeping power distributed and data close to its source.
Knowledge, tools, and methods are shared openly wherever possible. Transparency builds trust, and trust builds resilient systems.
We attend not just to tasks and outcomes, but to the energetic quality of the spaces in which work happens. The field shapes the fruit.
The Holonic Map
EvoBioSys is organized through three pillars — Evo, Bio, Sys — each containing nested holons that are autonomous yet deeply interconnected.

About
EvoBioSys — Evolving Living Systems — is a framework and growing network for people and projects that take living systems seriously. Not as metaphor, but as method.
The name encodes three nested dimensions: Evo (evolutionary growth and development), Bio (living processes and stewardship), and Sys (systemic technology and infrastructure). Together, they form a holarchy — each complete in itself, each part of something larger.
We organize through nested collectives, each with its own purpose and autonomy, connected through shared principles and mutual support. Current initiatives span community building, financial stewardship, open-source tooling, educational development, and publishing.
Founded and steered by Jakob Possert, EvoBioSys is rooted in Vienna and oriented toward European sovereignty, developmental depth, and practical idealism.
